Operating Room Technician Req Number: 2798 Department: Operating Room Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours: Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p Job Details: - High School Diploma/GED A member of the Operating Room team who functions in the scrub role and who monitors and maintains aseptic, technique, equipment, supplies and instruments. Responsible for receiving, washing, inspecting, preparing, sterilizing and storing instruments, trays, equipment and supplies according to policy and procedures. High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. CPR required and communication skills training (inclusive of written and verbal skills) 2 years experience as an Operating Room Tech; prefer graduate or OR training program; certification in AST preferable . Preferred 1 year experience in Sterile Processing.
