Job Summary: Perform general merchandising and complete selling tasks in different stores in assigned area. General merchandising consists of fronting the store, checking inventory, meeting with store and department managers, checking expiration dates, and making sure the proper products are on the shelves. Selling tasks may include selling in displays or secondary product locations, cutting in new items, acquiring additional space for existing items, and selling in incremental products.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain compliance and distribution of all required products in assigned territory (when applicable). Work will include mainly individual assignments. * Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. * Sell displays and secondary locations. * Sell incremental products. * Increase share by acquiring additional facings. * Effectively communicate benefits and product information of our client’s brands. * Work closely with client representatives on agreed upon objectives.  * Cut-in new items. * Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products. * Supply and place point of sale materials. * Implement shelf plan-o-grams (schematics, diagrams). * Achieves an acceptable effectiveness rate on assigned work. * Lift 35 lbs. to 50 lbs. occasionally. Flexibility of schedule is important. Hours vary depending on your location, availability, and willingness to travel.  Successful candidate will have: * Merchandising experience * Prior sales experience or the ability and willingness to learn how to be an effective “Sales Representative” * Ability to read and follow a plan-o-gram (schematic, diagram) * Ability to assemble fixtures and displays in-store * Excellent organizational and planning skills * Ability to work well in a team environment and independently * Flexible schedule * Access to reliable transportation * Basic Computer Skills  * Daily access to a MS 2000 compatible computer with internet capabilities About CROSSMARK: CROSSMARK is one of the leading retail merchandising companies in the consumer products industry.
