Senior HR Coordinator

Job Type: Regular Full-Time Location: Morris Plains, NJ

Job Description: Dendreon is quickly growing, and were looking for a super-sharp, high-energy individual to help build our Human Resources function at our New Jersey facility. The successful candidate will need to work independently, exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies, and select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions in imaginative and practical ways. General Summary: * Coordinates internal and external recruiting processes by scheduling interviews, posting positions, coordinating contingent staff program, and provides a variety of support to recruiting team. * Administers all employee benefit programs including benefit enrollments and changes, preparation and payment of benefit plans.. * Anticipates and responds to employees HR and recruiting questions.. * Maintains all employee records, including processing paperwork for new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations; maintains personnel files. * Performs new hire orientations and exit interviews. * Maintains and enhances HRIS data and intranet communications. * Represents department in cross-functional teams and projects. Job Requirements: * Bachelors degree or equivalent. * Typically 2 years related experience. * Proficient in MS Office 2007 applications with strong Power Point and Excel. * Prior experience with employee benefits programs (including responsibility for processing disability claims), HRIS systems and conducting employee orientations preferred. * Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
