Clinical Nurse Specialist - L&D

Continuous collaboration with members of the health care team to enhance patient care and professional practice by developing and supporting nursing staff and intervening with patients. Responsible for the provision of clinical expertise and oversight in the areas of patient care delivery, staff education, preceptorship and orientation, and quality improvement initiatives within the obstetrical units. This position serves all of labor & delivery. Reports directly to the director of womens & childrens services and works in collaboration with the managers of L&D. This position requires a masters prepared RN.
