Job Details: Associates Degree Works as a team member under the supervision of the Shift Charge Nurse and/or the Clinical Leader, performing a variety of nursing procedures with a patient/resident focused approach. While functioning within the guidelines of the Delaware State Nurse Practice Act, the nurse will demonstrate knowledge in the current concepts of his/her field, performing at a level of competence that allows independent thought and action. Applies critical thinking to managing patients/residents, assuring appropriate care based on patient/resident needs, using an age/disease specific approach. May function as the single nurse on a unit providing direction to others while under the supervision of the Shift Charge Nurse. Requires a Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed in the State of Delaware or participating Compact State. Dementia and Validation training within three months; CPR and IV Certification within 6months Employment Variables: Shift rotation required, working days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
