Physician Assistant - Levindale

Department:  Medicine (Clinical) Schedule: Part-time w/Weekend Commitment Shift: Shift varies Hours: Job Details: - Graduate of Approved/Certified Program - Licensure Required - 3-5 years experience is required

Provides safe, high quality patient care as a member of a physician directed healthcare team at LevindaleHebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. Serves as a resource to the attending medical staff as well as other team members. Ability to assess and manage patients in acute rehab and ventilator dependent units with off site physician support.

Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Masters degree; CAAHEP approved Physician Assistant program.  Will be required to obtain Maryland DEA and CDS License, NCCPA Certificate,  Board of Physicians Certificate and ACLS/BCLS Certification. Ability to work with a wide variety of technical medical equipment and computerized medical information.  One year of hospital based experience. Shift Flexibility - day, evening and night shifts.
