Functions in a nursing work leader role, managing personnel associated with nursing services. Monitors quality and safety issues. Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with nursing standards. Observes, records, and reports patients condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses medication as directed. Documentation is complete, accurate, and legible. Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instruct patients in the collection of samples and tests. Required Education/Training:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. B.S.N. preferred. Registered Nurse, licensed in the District of Columbia; CPR certification. Required Experience:Three years of professional nursing experience; At least 1 year of previous outpatient limb center experience. Must have strong organizational skills.
