Junior to Mid level Cost Analyst

YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires two equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management. Two years experience credit for Masters degree or three years experience credit for a Ph.D.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide cost estimating/analysis and budget analysis and execution support for Navy acquisition programs. Candidates will possess analytical and problem solving skills with an in-depth knowledge of cost estimating. In addition, applicants will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and have the ability to obtain the proper security clearance. The successful candidate will have experience to include 2 or more years of preparing cost estimates and budgets for major DoD system acquisitions (preferably ship acquisition) programs, assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives as well as preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include conducting cost analyses in support of Analyses of Alternatives (AoA), Business Case Analyses (BCAs), trade studies, and cost analyses for government clients; providing analytical support for reporting requirements, financial analysis and budget, program controls, requirements development, and planning implementation for government programs.
