We currently seek a talented and experienced Trade & Customs, Research Assistant for our Practice Support department. This position requires attention to detail, great organizational and analytical skills. Overview of Responsibilities: * Data collection, entry, analysis, and presentation. * Perform database management and reconciliation. * Assist in preparing and tracking trade and customs filings. * Conduct trade and customs related research. * Other tasks as assigned to support the International Trade Group. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Access including strong spreadsheet skills. * Excellent grammar, verbal and written communication skills and reading comprehension. * Ability to work independently or in a team environment, demonstrating significant initiative and self motivation. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of responsibilities, sometimes with conflicting priorities and timelines. * Strong analytical abilities, quick thinking and creative problem-solving skills. * Reliability and dependability are essential. * Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs. * Ability to plan and prioritize, and meet deadlines. * Ability to handle and prioritize multiple research requests. * Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change in the work environment. Required Experience: * Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, International Affairs, Statistics, or related field required. * Statistical or accounting background a plus.
