Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing the physical flow of Bulk Drug Substance and Finished Drug Product (bright stock as well as Packaged Finished Goods) between sites, as well as ensuring the accuracy of inventory transactions and records for HGS inventories at off-site locations.  This person will be responsible for developing, managing and generating distribution processes and reports to support the Sales and Operations Planning process and partner transactions.

Job Duties: ?                    Assist in the development of processes and systems to maintain continually accurate inventories ? Adhere to procedures for the work performed in the department ? Prepare, review and maintain documentation and reports of inventory transactions and shipments ? Lead continuous improvement and corrective action efforts within assigned scope ? Arrange shipments of BDS and FDP to meet defined schedules ? Assist in selecting and establishing off-site warehousing and storage locations ? Assist in establishing policies and working practices with partner distribution centers ? Develop and manage import and export procedures ? Monitor and manage the performance of carriers ? Ensure inbound and outbound shipping requirements between off-site locations are met ? Some travel (? Coordinate cycle counts with off-site locations ? Other duties as assigned
