Consumer Insights Analyst(RHQ)Posted: October 4, 2009
Responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings. To accomplish this task, the Assistant Manager- Consumer Insights works with the client (either internal or external) to understand, define and document the overarching business object. The Assistant Manager- Consumer Insights applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. Responsibilities: * Support the development and management of research plans. * Design and conduct in-field qualitative and quantitative research, primary and secondary research projects. * Evaluate and analyze external consumer, industry, and business information and integrate findings into projects. * Closely interact with relevant teams to ensure that current data and analytical needs are met, while anticipating and planning for future requirements. * Ensure that project timetables and logistics are effectively managed and communicated to and coordinated with all appropriate parties. * Take an active role in monitoring market performance and identifying issues and trends that require action or further investigation. * Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving market research procedures and methodologies as required. Qualifications * Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences, MBA is a plus. * Minimum of 2 years of Consumer Research experience with Strong understanding of primary and secondary market research methods. * Working knowledge of customer marketing and product management * Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations for business growth * Retail experience and/or e-commerce experience a plus, although not required * Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities * Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages concurrently and attention to detail * Self-motivated and self-monitoring * Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently; * Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with broad cross section of business partners Job Function : Marketing Organization : Headquarters Primary Location : USA-New Jersey Work Locations : Headquarters (5905) One Geoffrey Way Wayne, 07470-2030 Schedule : Full-time Job Type : Standard Education Level : Bachelors Degree Travel : No Please refer to job code 41720 when responding to this ad.
