Advertised Summary Job Description  The Research Worker sets up experiments and carries out and helps establish standard procedures for protocols; assists in data collection and analysis. Sets up new assays. Assists in training lower-level technicians. Candidate will work independently on experiments using molecular and microbiological techniques. Perform studies of infection using mouse models. Orders and maintains inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals. Maintains laboratory equipment. Enforces safety regulations. Provides quality control. Performs other related duties necessary to the functioning of the laboratory, research projects or work unit.
