Mid-Level Financial Analyst

Mid-Level Financial Analyst~Washington, DC~Full Time~Dynetics, Inc. is looking for a Budget Analyst with experience providing budget/resource management support to the U.S. Government and Department of Defense.  This position will provide budget/resource analyst support in the development, coordination, and maintenance of an integrated system of financial services including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, support financial resource management, economic and cost analysis efforts, and track past, current, and future expenditures.  The candidate will assist in the PPBE process, formulating, justifying, and monitoring the execution of FYDP budget plans, assess develop and execute accounting policies and procedures for compliance with Government standards, accounting principles, and multi-tired system application standards.  This position will be providing on-site support to the client.  Little or no travel will be required.~03/31/2010~Candidate must possess a minimum Bachelors degree and 5 years budget analyst experience.  Candidates must possess a strong ability in the application of concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and financing.  Comprehensive and detailed knowledge and understanding of governing budgetary policies, precedents setting decision, procedures, and regulations is required, as well as knowledge of analytical processes appropriate for conducting cost-benefit analysis, depreciation, pro-ration of revenues and costs and trend analysis.  Strong analytical and policy analysis background, working experience with data warehousing, extraction, and integration methodologies in medium-large scale computing environments will be required.  The ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn requests will also be required.  Candidate must have experience in Microsoft Office.  Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a SECRET level security clearance.~Advanced degree preferred in accounting, finance, business or public administration or economics desired.  Current experience within the Federal Government budget arena and knowledge of OMB and Congressional budget processes, procedures and requirements also desired, as well as knowledge Department of Defense budget processes, procedures and requirements, Microsoft Access program and excellent communications skills desired.~Candidate must possess a Secret level security clearance.  A Top Secret clearance is preferred.~1197
