The employee in this position will function in one capacity during a single shift: 1. Casino Cashier I (floor) as a slot cashier or a poker cashier (chip person function in poker room). 2. Casino Cashier II (cage) as cage or general cashier (includes satellite cage). 3. Casino Cashier III (banker) as cashier in Master Coin Bank, main bank, chip bank, check bank, or front window bank. As Casino Cashier Supervisor I: 1. Supervision of the employees and daily operations of the Casino Cage (chip, check, main and front window banks, satellite cages and Simulcast Counter), or the Slot Cage (booths, cashier banks, master coin bank, automated redemption machines and ticket redemption machines). 2. Direct supervision, scheduling, evaluating, and training of casino cashiers and TRM attendants. 3. Responsible for the accurate recording of inventory of the Casino Cage (chip, check, main, front window banks, satellite cages and Simulcast Counter) or the Slot Cage (booths, cashier banks, master coin bank, automated redemption machines, and ticket redemption machines). 4. Recommends hiring of staff and provides documentation for terminations in conjunction with company policies and procedures. 5. Direction and guidance of department staff to develop professionalism, strong customer service skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures. 6. Compliance with the Casino Control Commission Act of New Jersey. 7. Responsible for ensuring compliance with various Federal and State Statutes and Regulations, including the IRS and DGE Currency Transaction Report and Suspicious Activity Report Laws, and with departmental and company policies and procedures. 8. Prepares and maintains CTRC filings and related records. 9. Develops internal controls and procedures. 10. Maintains and updates customer information files. 11. Provides training for new hires and existing employees on all aspects of casino cashiering, including Federal and State Regulations and CTR and SARC requirements. 12. Participates in the daily reconciliation of the casino finance areas. 13. Performs other duties delegated by departmental management. 14. Requires casino access into the casino cage, satellite cages, slot cashiering areas and master coin bank areas. Education/Experience/ Skills/Requirements High School diploma, previous accounting, or money-handling experience, and computer terminal experience are preferred. Exceptional guest service skills, courtesy, professionalism and good communication skills are required. Must be willing to learn additional areas and demonstrate a positive, team player attitude.
