Live Online Business Analyst - New York

Join our new, dynamic and extremely entrepreneurial Live Online team as Live Online Business Analyst! This is a rare opportunity to take a leadership role in helping to define and manage a high-visibility start-up business. Our Live Online team employs the latest online collaboration technology to work together across time zones and international borders to extend KTPAs domestic and global reach.

The Live Online Analyst will work to support and provide analysis for Kaplans Live Online programs. The position will report in to the Director of Projects, Planning, and Development for Live Online.

Responsibilities:

* Generates daily and ad hoc reports

* Analyzes data and prepares national reports on product trends each month

* Provides regional reporting by center and by product to the Territory and Regional Directors

* Prepares monthly summaries and quarterly presentations for Live Online business performance

* Coordination with Kaplans national reporting team

Position Requirement and/or Skills Required:

* Bachelors Degree

* Two to three years of relevant work experience

* Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Mathematics background a plus

* SQL or Database experience

* Financial/Business modeling expertise preferred

* Ability to think analytically and follow through with complex problems

* Able to identify and highlight key data trends to drive decision-making

* Experience preparing financial reports, forecasts and budgets

* Ability to synthesize gathered data to tell a concise story, including presentation to senior management

* Computer proficiency, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

* Willingness and ability to learn new computer programs

* Ability to create processes in an unstructured environment

* Strong organizational skills

* Ability to multi-task

* Team player with a high energy level and diligent work ethic

* Ability to meet or exceed deadlines

* Strong follow-through and ability to implement tasks

* Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
