Position Summary Responsibilities will include course development and delivery of technical service training to Samsungs network of service technicians for Printers, MFP (multi-function printers) and fax machines. Other responsibilities include researching and developing technical training materials including lesson plans, technical guides and training presentations. This position is responsible for the delivery of training using on-line technology and traditional classroom style seminars to Samsungs service network. Additional duties will include analyzing repair histories and determining future training activities. The candidate must be able to work with all aspects of printing products including networking and software applications. Common Essential Duties & Resp. ? Performs online and traditional technical training to service centers and call centers in-house as well as remote locations. ? Schedule, coordinate, and perform technical training courses for Samsung Electronics North America. ? Attend overseas training sessions at manufacturing facilities within SEC. ? Travel to various locations within North America to provide hands on, on-site training to the authorized sales and service network. ? Development of course materials including lesson plans, technical guides and training presentations to be uploaded and used on internal service website ? Data Analysis ? Report generation ? Database maintenance ? Forecasting and planning ? Scheduling Background / Experience ? BS/BA degree in electronics engineering or tech school grad with 10 years industry experience, with a focus on technical training ? 7-10 years of experience in developing training material and content. ? 7-10 years of experience in the Printer and Personal Computer technical field. ? Expert in training course development, Flash application development, DVD/Video creation, and web material development. ? Computer proficiency (software and networking) ? Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills ? Technical writing and circuit analysis skills ?
