Working in a growing neurology private practice setting. Obtaining authorizations for infusion services and procedures. Direct patient contact. Answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying demographics and insurance coverage, check in patients, maintain drug supply levels, create patient charts & handle filing. Order drugs and supplies, verify encounter forms for accuracy, managing encounter tickets used for charge entry, interface with billing office, initiate any required insurance carrier regulatory needs and forward to appropriate staff and/or discuss with patients. Two years experience working in a clinical office setting obtaining authorizations strongly preferred. Use computer systems: MISYS, Word, Excel, GroupWise, CAIS. Excellent communication and computer skills. Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and two years of administrative/office management experience.
