Image Testing Engineer

System engineer works with Task Lead to provide USCIS imaging services for desktops and laptops.

Works in state-of-art lab to develop standard images and software packs for distribution agent-wide. Environment and duties include: ? Windows XP Operating System ? Norton Ghost ? LANDesk ? Wise Package Studio/ ? Image Creation /utilizing Norton Ghost ? COTS Application Implementation/Testing ? System Analyst/Requirements ? Performance Testing ? Local Security Policies ? Technical Documentation

Team manages a library of USCIS authorized images. Ensures conform to ITIL best practices for Configuration Management.

Provides strong technical and problem solving expertise to support Imaging and Problem Management Groups. Well-organized and detail oriented Ability to multi-task Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Required: Years of experience (min) 3-5 Required: Degree None Required: Skills Desktop image development experience is a must with an understanding of the tools and techniques used in the industry today and the vision to manage the product throughout the SDLifeCycle. Microsoft Deployment Toolkit experience(formerly Business Desktop Deployment) a plus. Extensive knowledge of PC hardware, an exceptional knowledge of Windows XP and standard PC software. Knowledge of federal security regulations and standards. Extensive and relevant knowledge of client-end engineering, unattended installation and SysPrep customization is required. Experience with two of the following: WSH, ADSI, WMI scripting capabilities and VB Scripts and/or Java Scripts. Candidate must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and works extremely well with an integrated technical team.
