Supv., Social Work

Supervises and coordinates social work staff in the implementation of high quality / quantity social work services within Region/ Program. Ensures adherence to State / Federal regulations and  VNSNY goals, standards and objectives. Works under general supervision. Qualifications LICENSURE:  License and current registration to practice as a Certified Social Worker in New York State required. EDUCATION:  Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work required.  EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years experience as Certified Social Worker, which includes one year in Home Care setting, required. Minimum one year experience in supervision of Certified Social Workers or graduate Social Work students, required. Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, required.
