The position will include providing feedback and direction to product management for the evolution of the product based on customer input. Additionally, the following responsibility areas are expected as a part of the sales manager role. * Sales point of contact for all technical discussions and questions * Customer oriented architecture and design meetings involving the products * Oversee development of policies, procedures, and objectives for marketing and selling companies products and services * Develop marketing strategies, evaluates market conditions and recommend policy changes to encourage maximum sales activity * Supervise/direct sales and marketing staff * Provide marketing expertise to management team * Responsible for direct sales of company products and services. * Analyze the competitive environment, as well as future marketing trends and make appropriate recommendations. * Call on prospective customers, provide product information and/or demonstrations and quite appropriate customer prices Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: * Coordinate customer service and applications engineering * Interface with manufacturing and engineering teams * High energy, self motivated, creative thinking and attention to detail * Technical/business development/management experience a plus Preferred Qualifications: * B.S. with at least 7-10 years of sales experience * Knowledge of glass * Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals * Prior supervisory experience required * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Professional phone manner * Prior presentation skills preferred Please refer to job code 109146 when responding to this ad.
