Develop and maintain the sales distribution channel with assigned business unit for premium and revenue growth for Insurance Services. Provide superior customer service and acts as primary liaison between assigned business unit and Insurance Services. Develop and manage positive relationships from line managers through the Managing Director of assigned business unit. Interact with and guides Insurance Services Telemarketing in various sales programs to educate and ensure all elements of the program are clear to the telemarketing group. Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices. Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Designs, develops and implements customized new products and fee-income programs for multiple channel marketing within assigned business unit. Design and manage insurance and fee-income Marketing Plan for assigned business unit. Develop detailed marketing strategies and tactics by product and distribution method. Serve as Project Manager within assigned business unit and Insurance Services for the development, construction and management of new product and program initiatives for implementation. Influence priorities and resources for projects as necessary. Complete other responsibilities, as assigned. Identifies, recommends and develops new insurance and fee-income opportunities to fit various assigned business unit distribution channels. Present current and new revenue opportunities on an on-going basis to the Executive Management of assigned business unit to gain approval for implementation and to provide a status update of current programs. Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. Basic Qualifications: * A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, marketing or related field * Three years experience in sales and marketing, three years experience within the insurance industry and one year experience with regular oral presentations * Excellent oral and written presentation skills as well as the ability to motivate others without a direct reporting relationship Please refer to job code 83786 when responding to this ad.
