Description: We are searching for a Business Developer to market and sell Kaplans Pre-College test preparation programs (SAT, ACT and PSAT) in the Queens area. The Business Developer is responsible for selling and marketing Kaplans programs and developing, maintaining, and managing all school and community relationships in a territory. Responsibilities: * Developing and implementing strategic territory marketing and sales plans * Building relationships with school and district personnel, students, parents and community organizations * Establishing and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent and effective customer communication * Leading effective and dynamic presentations to high school students, parents, teachers and administrators * Identifying new and efficient activities to promote growth and expansion Requirements: * Bachelors Degree * Minimum of 2 years of sales experience * Education experience and educational sales are valued but not required * Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills; strong presentation and public speaking skills * Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills * Ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of responsibilities in a high energy and fast-paced environment * Willingness and ability to travel within the local territory If you have a passion for education and business, and an unwavering commitment to our students, please e-mail your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements.
