The Mt. Laurel Office of the New Jersey Chapter has an immediate opening for a Marketing/Campaign Coodinator. Basic duties include: - Responsible for managing Chapter-wide marketing programs (direct mail, advertising, grass-roots/promotional, patient/family inclusion and web based marketing programs) -Recruitment of high level volunteers and engagement in certain events -Conducts annual Man/Woman Campaign Duties and Responsibilities: ? Develops, manages and implements a coordinated chapter-wide plan (strategic and operational) that includes managing our chapter wide social networking initiative, responsible for maintaining and improving our chapters website, all direct marketing, advertising, public relations, patient engagement, grass roots/promotions and the development of committee/team volunteer leaders to meet chapters goals that is in collaboration and coordination with chapter departments. ? Conducts Chapters Annual Man/Woman Campaign. Responsible to net 100k in FY10. Engagement of very high level candidates is required and must be recruited by marketing manager for the campaigns success. Must follow national timeline and strategies. ? Recruitment of high level volunteers to engage in areas of the chapter where connectors are needed. (Including but not limited to development in new markets and the start up of a young professionals group). The Young Professionals group will be responsible to raise 50k net in FY10 under the direction and guidance of the marketing manager. ? Partner with all departments in the process of budgeting, timelines, and action plans for assigned marketing programs. ? In coordination with chapter department heads, monitor marketing expenses associated with fundraising campaigns and patient services programs. Facilitate comprehensive records, evaluations and reports. ? Responsible for analyzing and reporting on the results of assigned marketing programs. Will compare/evaluate this information with the program budget and outcome goals. ? With Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director, develop and manage a structured group of volunteer of influencers and to support the chapters marketing, fundraising and communications goals. Provides direction and support for volunteer committee carrying out marketing activities. ? Oversees and manages all PR and marketing efforts with relation to Society events with special focus on but not limited to TNT, LTN, Man & Woman of the Year, and specifically for Patient Services opportunities in high level volunteerism and fundraising. ? Create and manage the development of a new mobile give campaign. Foster relationships with media outlets and institutions where LLS can benefit from exposure through mobile give. ? Review in kind partnerships and evaluate chapters media partnerships to further development ? In coordination with department staff evaluates the utilization of web sites and other electronic marketing tools including exact target which will maximize the chapters electronic marketing and communications effectiveness. ? Work in close collaboration with national marketing and communications staff. Ensures that marketing programs and materials are consistent with the brand identity of the Society. ? Work to cross promote chapter campaigns and help brand events under the umbrella of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. ? Specifically coordinate a chapter schedule for PSAs, press releases, exact targets, etc. Standardize press materials, templates, etc for all Society outreach. ? Oversees outreach of all marketing distribution lists, POP plan and distribution, grassroots initiatives, etc, ? Creates and oversees maintaining a centralized outreach database/list. ? Maintains a working knowledge of the Societys mission and its programs to address them. ? Performs other related duties as assigned. Position Requirements: ? Excellent oral and written communication skills. ? Previous marketing experience. ? Ability to be highly creative in both planning and creating materials. ? Excellent computer skills (word processing and database management) ? Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. ? Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively. ? Highly professional demeanor. ? Strong interpersonal skills and judgment. ? Capable of working well with a variety of personalities & leadership styles; a team player. ? Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities. ? Minimum preferred education- Bachelors degree ?
