Business Analyst Role, Equity Swaps Associate

The Equity Swaps team operates globally and is responsible for delivering solutions to business issues relating to equity swaps.  There are multiple workstreams underway in the equity swaps space.  This person will initially be aligned to the Equity Swap STP (Straight Through Processing) project in North America. This is a major initiative driven by the Business Unit (DSP) and Operations to implement the firms strategic Order Management, Allocation and Trade Processing platforms. Skills Required A successful candidate will ideally have equity swaps product and process knowledge and an ability to recognize deficiencies or improvement opportunities and recommend best practices based on prior experiences.  The successful candidate will be capable of performing detailed business analysis (either on their own of through a team) in order to understand and resolve current issues and develop/define the future state vision. This will require the individual to influence at senior levels, while also being skilled at extracting requirements from subject matter experts in Operations, Finance, Trading, Sales and Risk Management. The successful candidate will also be comfortable working with ambiguity, managing & resolving complex issues and have a history of being able to articulate a clear message for which support is garnered.
