Tax Manager

The Morgan Stanley Tax Department currently has a career opportunity in New York City for a Tax Manager in the Domestic Tax Group. Skills Required ? Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting, finance or other business discipline; coursework in taxation preferred ? At least 4-7 years of hands-on experience in (i) federal and/or state income tax compliance, (ii) income tax accounting and/or (iii) corporate accounting in a public accounting firm or corporate environment ? Experience in FAS 109 (Accounting for Income Taxes) ? Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills, including the ability to simplify and communicate complex business information ? Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks ? Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel ? Fully-proficient computer/technology skills, especially Excel ? Financial services background preferred
