Work on a number of exciting and challenging projects in automated trading systems. Focus will be on real time, low latency, high volume trading engines. Asset classes include Stocks, ETFs, Options, Futures, and FX. Responsibilities will include: -          Acting as project lead and driving projects from beginning to end -          Working with business units to gather requirements -          Design and implement software solutions in C++. -          Deploying solutions in a highly distributed Linux plant. -          Providing level 3 support Skills Required -          3-5 years of experience building large scale, real time trading systems -          Background in computer science -          Strong C/C++ -          Unix/Linux experience -          Problem solving -          Strong communication skills -          Ability to multitask -          Highly motivated -          Team player -          Eager to learn -          Self sufficient -          Results oriented -          Desire to work in fast paced environment Skills Desired -          Familiarity with market structure -          Familiarity with FIX protocol -          PERL -          Shell scripting -          XML -          KDB & Q -          Multithreaded programming -          Operating Systems -          Networks
