Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director of International Programs and Services in the MBA Academic Affairs office. The selected candidate will assist the Director in managing all aspects of MBA international exchange programs including: admissions and selection process, academic advising, but will focus on relationship development with partner institutions to initiate new courses to expand the portfolio of international opportunities for MBA students and maintain and refine current course offerings. The Associate Director will work with faculty to develop and create the program curriculum for Sterns Doing Business in (DBi) program. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing and delivering approximately nine programs a year with financial forecasting and reporting for the 1.5 million program. S/he will also lead DBi programs abroad while managing multiple concurrent sessions at other international sites. In this capacity, s/he will be responsible for the public safety of more than 100 students in various locations around the world. While abroad, s/he will meet with top level administrators and faculty of the partner school. The Associate Director will advise MBA students on all aspects of their academic program, determine course requirements and sequencing, evaluate course work taken abroad and speak at international programs information sessions. The Associate Director supervises two assistant directors. This position requires a minimum of 5-7 weeks of international travel per academic year in one to two week intensive periods. Qualifications/Required Education Bachelors degree and Preferred Education Masters degree Required Experience 3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Experience in international education and student advisement services. Preferred Experience Experience with project management. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
