Qualifications/Required Education Applicants must possess a Masters degree in computer science or a related technology field. Preferred Education MBA and formal project management certifications. Required Experience A minimum of ten years of experience managing teams and projects within large, complex, service-oriented organizations, as well as experience in strategic planning, scheduling, budget control, and analysis. Preferred Experience Relevant work experience in higher education or the non-profit sector would be a plus. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The successful candidate will understand the schools big picture goals and guide the schools administrators, alumni, and faculty in making the right technology choices. Principal responsibilities include working with all constituencies to identify the optimal IT services required to maintain NYU School of Laws high academic standards, defining metrics-based controls and key-performance indicators for the tracking and reporting of the many simultaneous IT projects, generating consensus around an optimal portfolio of IT services, and launching new programs including on-line initiatives.
