Portfolio Recovery Associates is a thirteen year old, publicly traded company (NASDAQ-PRAA) that purchases and manages portfolios of defaulted consumer receivables and provides a broad range of accounts receivable management services. We are currently recruiting for a Cafe Prep Cook, to join our Facilities Department in Norfolk, (Vir) Virginia.ginia Beach

Primary duties include:

Preparation of food served in cafe by established production procedures to include:

•        Cutting and cooking meats, poultry, and seafood.

•        Cleaning, peeling, cooking, and slicing vegetables and fruits.

•        Preparation of all recipes per specifications

•        Assures that meals are prepared and delivered on time and in acceptable quantity and quality

•        Ensure availability of supplies and food by checking inventory daily

•        Responds to oral and written feed back from customers on food quality and service

•        Performs other job duties as assigned

Successful applicants must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in food and nutrition is desired. Must be knowledgeable in areas of commercial food operations for a fast paced and high volume environment. Must be self ? motivated and take initiative, possess good interpersonal communication skills and work harmoniously with all employees and customers.
