National Account Manager - RHPS Mid to Senior Level, Full Time, Sales Random House U.S.A, NEW YORK, New York Introducing ourselves: Random House, Inc. is the worlds largest general trade book publisher. It is a division of Bertelsmann AG, one of the foremost media companies in the world.

Job duties: The Random House Sales Division is seeking a National Account Manager to join the Random House Publishing Services (RHPS) team. Responsible for maintaining, servicing and developing current account base while expanding sales of specific RHPS clients and their imprints at those accounts.

Candidate will have an active selling role with responsibilities that include: maximizing sales growth within the established account base, developing relationships with key customers, creating and assisting with the development of marketing, advertising, promotional and publicity programs, communicating account information as it relates to appropriate imprints, managing/maintaining the co-op advertising budget and forecasting of key title/imprint performance as well as participating in title presentations.

Job requirements: 2-5 years experience in a book publishing sales environment preferably for National Accounts. Applicants must have excellent organizational, communication, presentation and computer skills. Must also be a self-starter and have an assertive, yet tactful, demeanor.
