Sr. Manager Supply Chain - ITD Division

Position Summary

Responsible for works related to Supply Chain Management of IT Division of Samsung Electronics of America for all IT products. Responsibilities ranging AP2 demand forecast for all ITD product lines, Lead SCM Day meeting, Consensus calls with sales people, PSI meetings with HQ (GOC) people, and all Team management works. Analysis works include SCM KPI analysis, sales forecast analysis, inventory level analysis, channel data analysis, etc. Interactions with sales team, marketing, and HQ GC team will be a big part of the job, since SCM team coordinate all supply & sales related issues. SCM related education/knowledge transfer for ITD employees is also a part of the duties. Bilingual Korean/English required

Common Essential Duties & Resp.

? Weekly demand forecasting and allocation for all product in ITD

? Inventory management (On-hand, In-transit) to prevent aging while maximizing inventory turns & sales

? Conduct weekly PSI call with HQ GC & Marketing

? Prepare and conduct SCM Day meeting

? Responsible for reviewing and analyzing weekly Purchase/Sales/ Inventory review activities, Demand forecast input and aged inventory analysis

? Monitoring Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators, identifying exceptional cases and analyzing those metrics for potential process improvements.

? Interfaces daily with various departments at all levels of management.

? Lead other Supply Chain related projects as necessary

? Education on SCM related knowledge to ITD employees

Necessary Skills / Attributes ? Bilingual Korean/English required ? Bachelor of Arts / Science required. MBA Helpful ? 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, demand planning, logistics or statistical forecasting ? Must be computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Database) ? Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills ? Demonstrated success developing and leading high performance cross-functional teams and complex project management that deliver quantifiable results ? Strong analytical and organizational skills including the ability to collect, structure, analyze and communicate large volumes of complicated data ? APICS Certification preferred
