Product Marketing, Manager

Position Summary The Product Marketing Manager is dually responsible for overseeing the Product Marketing function that supports all product categories (Laundry, Refrigeration or Cooking), and for supporting a product category in a working-level role that focuses on the sell-through of product off the retail floor.

Working very closely with the Product Manager in the category, the Product Marketing Manager will assist in the management of the outbound aspects of product management, including brief writing, promotional planning and monitoring, shop display planning, training planning, and coordinating with Marcoms on creative and POS. The person in the role is also expected to provide analysis on areas including, promotions tracking and lift, competitive comms analysis, catalogue monitoring, and sell-through.

The Product Marketing Manager also will have responsibilities to ensure quality standards are maintained across Product Marketing in different categories, and meets the requirements set out Product Managers.

Common Essential Duties & Resp. Planning ? Plan product annual marketing strategy jointly with Marcoms ? Drive related service functions (Marcom, PR, Filed Marketing, etc.) from briefs through to execution ? Plan and manage product promotional plan, including calendar, offerings, ROI impact analysis, and post-activity analysis. ? Ensure alignment of product promotions activities with marketing communication plan ? Recommend promotions and competitive reactions ? Work with Marcom/PR to develop briefs, etc. ? Plan training schedules with Field Marketing Team ? Commission consumer research

Analysis ? Sell-through tracking and analysis ? Channel inventory reports ? Promotional lift tracking ? Catalogue tracking ? Competitive promotions activity tracking

Management ? Ensure consistency of standards and quality across product marketing function ? Develop new processes templates for other product marketing assistants ? Mange and develop 2 Product Marketing Assistants ? Work closely with Product Managers to get clarity on business requirements

Background / Experience ? Bachelors degree required ? Minimum of 5+ years experience in marketing and/or product management (agency or client) ? Experience in consumer electronics/durables/appliance industries preferred ? Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint ? Excellent planning and organizational skills ? Ability to prioritize, organize and allocate time based upon project importance ? Strong analytical mind; excellent with Excel ? Excellent communicator, especially written, including skills in PowerPoint ? Total team player
