Printer Marketing Manager - Reseller

Position Summary The marketing manager for the reseller channel is responsible for the development, management and execution of marketing programs and strategies designed to grow printer hardware and toner sales within this channel, In addition, this candidate is responsible for analyzing, measuring and reacting to market trends and competitive activities in the channel. Through these programs and ongoing analysis, this person is responsible to regularly report on the trends to various departments and make recommendations on how to respond. This person must also be able to manage marketing projects to completion, track and manage promotional expenditures and recommend product forecast changes. In this role, the marketing manager will work closely with the sales team in managing account strategy, proposing product lineup, managing account level P&L and product returns.

Common Essential Duties & Resp. ? Development and Execution of marketing programs designed to grow hardware and toner business within the contract channel Measured by: Market Trends ? Manage channel inventories, promotional programs and toner attach. Measured by: Account P&L ? Propose product and promotional programs for the various accounts. Analyze Market Information as reported from NPD to determine success, Measured by: Market Share ? Review channel inventories on weekly basis, update forecasts Measured by: SCM Score ? Pull, summarize and report on weekly/monthly sales trends Measured by: Monthly Channel Reports ? Track promotional success via sell thru information and promotional expenses Measured by: Promotional ROI ? Develop and Manage ongoing programs designed to maintain a return level at or below the market Measured by: Customer Returns %

Background / Experience Bachelors Degree Required (MBA preferred) 5 + years experience in channel/trade/product in B2B marketing ideally working with Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Synnex, D&H or others in the reseller community who focus on selling printer product(s) The ideal candidate would come from the channel working with such manufacturers as: Brother, Cisco, Lexmark, etc. Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access) Microsoft Project and Visio (preferred) BW Analysis (Making queries,formulas) SAP (Product overall tracking) eOffice Management and Tracking (promotional activities)
