Solutions Engineer - Printer

Position Summary

The primary function of this position is to provide pre-sale (or post-sale) support for Samsung MFPs and printers. The (Pre) & Post Sales Solutions Engineer will provide the service team expertise for Samsung document management, workflow and managed print services software. The Solutions Engineer will support the sales and service team with expertise in third-party software solutions and will be responsible to support million dollar sales projects with the sales and service team. Extended work hours may be necessary as well as frequent travel to support business needs. This position requires teamwork amongst different parties, coordination of communications and status updates. Knowledge of industry standard solutions, PC H/W and S/W knowledge, extensive experience in printer/copier products, and networking is required. Internal and external communication is a vital part of this position which includes communicating with HQ in Korea. A technical consulting capability is required to maximize the performance of Samsung products.

Common Essential Duties & Resp.

? Implement and support field solutions to customers that help retain existing customers and increase sales. ? Support of pre & post sale solutions technical support. ? Develop and Manage customer relationships, support, and training of Commercial vendors and Samsung sales and service teams. ? Collaborate with Solutions Architects Team to develop & test solutions. ? Provide technical solutions & follow-up on seed placements with customers or placement of seed evaluations units. ? Manage Technical questions and follow-up with enterprise accounts and resellers. ? Provide technical expertise with customer installations. ? Maintenance of accurate records of printer solutions information including firmware customization. ? Report / follow-up on escalated field solution services. ? Maintain competent level of product knowledge and have the ability to communicate product issues back to sales, service and HQ teams. ? Maintenance of customer profile database and warranty entitlements. ? Interface with Internal Sales Representatives. ? Participate in weekly conference calls with customers, sales and headquarters engineers.

Necessary Skills / Attributes

? Good Communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Ability to create/monitor databases and reports in a fast passed environment. ? Positive, Professional attitude. ? Self motivated, desire for self-improvement ? Familiar with basic PC skills, Network, Server, MS Office and SAP.
