Registered Nurse with five years experience or other clinical experience, including medical office assistant or LPN with active clinical care, EMT experience or some combination of these. Position requires case management skills and communicates/possesses strong conceptual knowledge and application of managed care and case management methodologies. A passion for HIV care and knowledge of the HIV field is essential, but can be enhanced with on the job training. Evidence of positive rapport with patients, families, medical staff, peers, superiors, multipdisciplinary team members and the public. Good interpersonal communication, organizational and assessment skills. Commitment to high quality patient care in an efficient, cost effective manner. Experience in working with persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Knowledge in addictions treatment and mental health treatment.
