Requirements: Must 8-15 years experience with DOD/DON medical training, exercises and emergency response. Experience with planning, training package development and execution. Experience with DOD, DON and National medical management systems, practices, policies and organizations Knowledge of Universal Joint/Navy Tasks Lists, Joint Mission Essential Task List, and Navy Mission Essential Task List (NMETL) and their inter-relation to individual, unit, and group TRAINING. Must have/obtain SECRET clearance. Job Duties Responsibilities: The Contingency Training and Exercise Program Manager is in the office of Emergency Preparedness and Contingency Support (EPCS) and is broadly responsible for providing subject matter expertise (SME) for all matters related to national, regional, installation, and integrated exercise, training and associated certification activities throughout BSO-18. Incumbent is responsible for exercise policy development, implementation, ongoing assessment and improvement of the Navy Medicine exercise program. Incumbent will function as a liaison to regional Emergency Management Officers (EMOs) and provide advice on the oversight, management, execution, as well as program standardization and coordination with local, State, and Federal agencies as required. Incumbent is responsible for providing technical guidance to Navy Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in exercise specific and long-range national exercise planning meetings; design, development, logistical and planning aspects of exercise activities including but not limited to seminars, workshops, drills, games, functional and full-scale exercises.
