Description: Experienced Mechanical Construction QA Representative sought to conduct surveillance of construction and renovation contracts to assure that contractor is conducting quality control operations to produce work in conformance with plans and specifications. Evaluates quality control effectiveness and accuracy and recommends resolutions and improvements. Projects range from minor to major construction, and repair and renovation of medical facilities. Required: Minimum of five years experience with major and minor construction. Four year degree preferred. (Some college and extensive experience may be accepted in lieu of 4 year degree). Should possess experience with medical facility construction projects. Must have relevant medical projects and history of association with Federal government/military (culture/protocol) Candidate should be experienced in quality assurance, safety, scheduling, inspections, conducting meetings and project final acceptance. EM 385-1-1 experience Knowledge of JCAHCO, OSHA, CWDA, building codes including fire & life safety. Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction projects. Experience with U.S. Army Medical facility construction. USACE 3-Phase Inspection Process Resident Management System (RMS) software experience. J. M.
