The CPS Central Projects Group delivers strategic, global business process and technology-based solutions for Morgan Stanleys Cross Product Services. This unique opportunity requires a senior level business analyst to lead and deliver against a complex portfolio of cross-divisional projects. This individual will work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across CPS and Operational and Finance domains including; Treasury, Settlements, Cash Management, Asset Servicing , Secured Financing and financial reporting. Skills Required The candidate will have the following responsibilities: Business Analyst ? Document and manage requirements collection, client and IT expectations, issues, risks and scope changes throughout all phases of the project ? Work with the Program Manager and stakeholders to prioritize work and drive milestones ? Collaborate with IT on test plan development, design test cases and manage UAT process ? Coordinate user training & manage any hand-offs to formal training organization Leadership ? Strong communication and influencing skills ? Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work and people ? Capable of collaborating with peers and management Relationship Management ? Interact with client managers to deliver on project objectives and priorities within the scope of the project/program/initiative ? Manage relationship with collaborating organizations, e.g., IT, Ref Data, etc. ? Interface with stakeholders, sponsors and other Senior Management to confirm program/project sponsorship/support, strategic alignment, and report progress, achievements, significant issues and risks. Business Process Definition, Analysis & Solution Design ? Interface with Clients to define current state process and document business requirements ? Review and validate business rules and requirements and obtain all required sign-offs ? Draft recommendations to address business needs based on analysis ? Design future state process flows, incorporating requirements and obtain client validation ? Work with IT to translate business requirements into future state system specs ? Act as liaison/agent between IT and client for requirements and assumptions clarification or validation, compromise or agreement mediation, and to close information gaps ? 7+ years experience in Settlements, Cash Management or Asset Servicing required ? Microsoft Office Suite ? MS Project or other Project Management Software ? Bachelors Degree ? 5-7 years of process improvement, business analysis and project management experience ? Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a created/flexible approach to problem solving ? Ability to manage ambiguity and define approaches to bring issues to resolution ? Project and System Development Lifecycle knowledge ? Financial Services Industry Knowledge/ Experience (at least 5-7 in Financial Services Industry) ? Understanding of system architecture principles, project management fundamentals, process analysis and design best practices Skills Desired ?
