Position Summary The HR Manager will be working in close partnership with management, and will serve as a guide and catalyst for organizational change and workforce development providing full service Human Resources support as a single HR point of contact to associates at all levels. You will function as a strategic business partner to divisional executive leadership, consulting on all HR related matters. Handle a wide range of associate relations issues varying in complexity, including investigation of complaints of discrimination/harassment, Leave of Absence (LOA) related issues, career pathing discussions, interpretation of policies, etc. Key Tasks and Responsibilities * Act as an internal consultant to executive leaders. Partners with business leadership on all matters related to HR, including but not limited to workforce and succession planning, department restructuring, associate engagement, and performance management. * Develop and apply tactics that will impact positive employee relations, productivity and performance, career development, succession planning and talent management-ensuring an ample supply of human capital for the companys current and future needs. * Achieve maximum organizational performance by developing/implementing new HR programs * Lead process development and implementation * Manage the effective communication of policy, procedure, and benefits * Conduct orientation and training programs * Facilitate various training curriculums and one off modules designed to train managers in HR practices and enhance leadership competencies in various areas, including interviewing, associate development, communication, decision making, problem solving and conflict management. * Respond to inquiries from associates, garner exit interview feedback and administering equitable salary programs * Assist in planning and delivery of various HR initiatives and programs and other ad hoc projects as assigned * Responsible for administering annual management and hourly performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization * Includes system administration, administration of merit and incentive process, collaboration with legal department and senior management to address performance issues, and partnership in creation/delivery of corrective action plans * Partner with the Talent Acquisition Department to interview candidates for select positions and assists in planning and delivery of annual college recruiting programs. Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related discipline * 5-7 years HR Generalist experience within a large corporate setting; three or more years experience in performance management and organizational effectiveness * Specialized training and corporate retail experience are a plus * Demonstrated passion and aptitude for performance management and organizational effectiveness * Recognizable ability to build relationships and gain consensus at all management levels. * Strong communication, planning and organizational talents Job Function : Human Resources Organization : Headquarters Primary Location : USA-New Jersey Work Locations : Headquarters (5905) One Geoffrey Way Wayne, 07470-2030 Schedule : Full-time Job Type : Standard Education Level : Bachelors Degree Please refer to job code 42512 when responding to this ad.
