Applicants should have a Ph.D. or expect to complete their degree requirements prior to appointment. Faculty members are expected to publish in top finance and economics journals, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the intellectual life of the university. A primary research interest in corporate governance and related topics is preferred. The University of Delaware is a state-assisted, privately-governed institution, founded in 1743, that enrolls over 16,000 undergraduates and 3,500 graduate students. The Department of Finance supports the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Finance, as well as other degrees offered by the Lerner College.
