Mountain Creek Job Description Ski / Snowboard Instructor ? PSIA / AASI - Level I, II, III Job Title: Ski / Snowboard Instructor PSIA / AASI - Level I, II, III Resort: Mountain Creek Reports To: Ski and Snowboard School Manager Department/Division: Ski and Snowboard School Last Updated: 10-21-2009 Location: Mountain Creek JOB SUMMARY: * Responsible for teaching skiing and or snowboarding to adults and children, of varying ages and abilities, in groups or private lessons. Must possess full knowledge of Ride and Ski School, Rentals, and Ticketing Products as well as a general knowledge of the Resort. Assist our Guests in any situation that may arise in order to provide the highest possible level of Guest Service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Teaching adults and children how to ski and or snowboard, using the methodology provided by (PSIA-Professional Ski Instructors of America, or AASI-American Association of Snowboard Instructors). * Must be willing to participate in continuing educational training and skills development. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES: * Guest Services, Rental Shop, Setup and teardown of fencing in school yard area as needed. Other duties as required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Experienced skier or snowboarder with own equipment including black ski / snowboard pants * PSIA or AASI Level I, II, or III Certification. * Positive Attitude and willingness to work as a team. * Good Communication Skills. * Must be able to work in outdoor environment in all kinds of conditions Please refer to job code 1192634 when responding to this ad.
