This is a unique and high profile role supporting the General Manger duties for the Baltimore office. This role will involve providing office support within the Control, Commercial and People framework. This includes tracking key deliverables, monitoring and reporting commercial opportunities, providing administrative support of key mentor programs and supporting the people agenda. -Provide coordination across departments - MSU, HR, Lateral and Campus Recruiting, Corporate Services, IT and BCP -Space Optimization ? provide project support (strategic and tactical), provide direction to local corporate services and brokering departmental requirements. -Provide coordination across various Baltimore-based committees ? e.g., Entertainment Committee, Community Involvement Committee (charity, volunteering), Communication Committee (SharePoint site, newsletter), and Move Committee -External co-ordination ? PR/Corporate communication and branding, coordination with intern/mentor programs -Internal co-ordination - Maintain Division management SharePoint site, provide support for Baltimore Ops newsletter and billboards -Support office management reporting ? e.g., tracking goals and training completed -Support grant management activities - site mgmt report for ISG ops leadership, Baltimore site calendar for head of Baltimore Operations, liaise with MSU and Deployment -Deployment ? in support of the Head of the Baltimore office, monitor cross-divisional opportunities and track progress regarding deployment in / out of Baltimore -Research and preparation of reports and presentations -Facilitation and chairing of meetings -Document and distribute Baltimore Operations management meeting minutes -Budget monitoring -Delivering presentations and updates Skills Required -Strong facilitator with the ability to influence people -Good level of business skills and commercial awareness -Discreet and professional -Good organizational skills -Strong team player both local and remote -Pro-active self starter with can-do? attitude -Articulate and effective communicator that can get to the point -Attention to detail -Microsoft Office ? share point would be a plus -Local Baltimore knowledge ? internal and external -Morgan Stanley knowledge ? good networks across the offices would be useful Please refer to job code 232584 when responding to this ad.
