S/he must have a demonstrated track record of developing and executing public relations strategies and programs and will have demonstrated success at building strong client relationships. The VP will take the lead on multiple consumer accounts, managing the programs and the teams, and responsible for nurturing the client relationships. Responsibilities: Business Development * Develops new business proposals and RFP responses ? Presents new business ideas to prospects in an articulate and compelling manner ? Develops budgets to reflect a profitable and fair approach to managing the prospects assignment ? Identifies opportunities to cross sell MWW Group areas of expertise beyond the initial program including Studio MWW, Digital Media and other practice areas * Develops and maintain extremely strong interpersonal relationship with senior clients ? Develops proactive and strategic ideas that help the clients reach their goals ? Builds relationships and serves as the liaison for the client with important stakeholders ? Provide leadership in the areas of total account management, media relations and the provision of strategic guidance and counsel ? Acts as the ultimate steward of the clients PR assets and resources, including budget ? Heavy involvement with management of client and team budgets and P&Ls Media ? Knowledgeable about media trends (online and traditional) as well as top-tier media personnel shifts - including online/digital media pitching and placement * Provide counsel on strategic media plans * Social networking * Cultivates new business leads through networking and personal contacts Team Management * Provide leadership, direction and guidance to account teams ? Develop and coach account teams for peak performance ? Work with peers to further the mission, goals and culture of the agency ? Mentor individuals so that they are able to achieve their professional goals ? Be a key contact for internal staff to address issues ? Ensure quality work from team in order to meet/exceed client expectations ? Attend account reviews and staff meetings - provide ongoing communications and feedback ? Structure and staff new and existing project teams, including reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates ? Ensure that account team members adhere to agency time reporting and financial Qualifications: Education * B.S/B.A or Communications or a related field Must have Public Relations Agency experience only.
