Apply with a New Account Maintenance Mechanic Job Description: JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS: Our client is in need of a Maintenance Mechanic who posseses experience working with Conveyor systems, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics. Experience working on Forklifts and tow motors would be a huge plus. Roller conveyor experience is a plus, the mechanics should be able to troubleshoot and repair drive trains and gear boxes on the conveyor systems. Qualified candidates require a working knowledge of electrical controls, 3 phase motors, and ac/dc circuits, photo eyes. Candidates should also have prior experience working in a distribution center environment. This position will be performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on conveyor systems/motors and engines. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, and possess good electrical skills (basic understanding of PLCs required). Mechanics need to have their own basic tools such as socket sets and ratchets.
