Technical Writer I am requesting resumes for qualified candidates skilled in business process modeling and technical writing. Must have editing, writing and layout experience with a background in Business Process Modeling (BPM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment within cross functional teams. Skills Requirements: Required Skills: 2+ years of Technical writing experience. Proficient in creating software related technical documents including, users manuals, training materials, proposals, meeting minutes and reports. Proficient in copy/editing functional descriptions, system specifications, and other customer deliverables and documents. 2+ years of Rational software (ClearCase, ClearQuest and RequisitePro) experience. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint and preferably SharePoint Designer. Experience with Microsoft Windows XP and Office Suite. Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and principles CMM/CMMI. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to support software engineering life-cycle (requirements analysis, design alternatives; detail program specifications etc.) document development required. Provide document examples written by the candidate please. Self-starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment. Desired Skills: Project management skills utilizing Microsoft Project for resource management and project scheduling. Previous Web development background a plus. Familiarity with relational databases a plus. Education and Certifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 3+ years of specific and 5+ years of professional experience or 7+ years experience with no degree.
