Deloitte Federal Information Management Practice is looking for a DW Consultant to be part of an integrated project team engaged in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing solution at a major federal government client.  The consultant must be experienced in with functional and technical aspects of data warehouse development, data management, reporting, SQL development working within a portal environment (SharePoint, WebSphere, Oracle).  The candidate will provide client delivery in requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.  This person will become an integral part of a dynamic and growing Information Management team.

The candidate must quickly develop a broad understanding of the programs and initiatives of the client in the area of policy, strategy and compliance/reporting. S/he should be able to set priorities in work assignments and work well in a diverse and dynamic environment. The consultant will:

•      You should have experience in implementing and deploying database/DW solutions

•      You should have working experience with SQL Query, data modeling, including multi-dimensional modeling

•      You should have good understanding of government budgeting process

•      You should have an understanding of Performance Management and ETL

•      You should have the ability to lead projects and conform to development best practices

•      You should have exposure to web infrastructure technologies (Portals, firewalls, DMZs, networking, etc.)

As a developer, your role may include the following responsibilities:

?              Review functional requirements and specification documents; interview end users to refine requirements.

?              Research source data locations to validate requirements

?      Drives delivery of business solution documentation for implementation of new business processes/procedures.

?      Provides team leadership and Manage client relationships in complex environments.

?      Prepares and leads components of presentations to clients.

?      Ability to facilitate moderate complex client meetings.

•        3-5 years of consulting experience

•        3-5 years experience designing, developing, and maintaining programs in an Informatica Power Center (or equivalent tool).

•        4-6 years experience in the development and maintenance of SQL, MS SQL Server (TSQL), Oracle, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Informatica Mappings, Maplets, and/or Work-flows.

•        3-5 years experience with application development lifecycle.

•        Candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to quickly learn the clients  business processes

•        Strong leadership and communication skills.

•        3-5 years with Data Warehouse concepts including Star Schema or ER Modeling.

•        Completed a bachelor degree

•        Able to obtain a secret clearance
