The Federal Healthcare team seeks a DMLSS System Trainer. Location: Frederick, MD (Fort Detrick) . The position will be dedicated to training new and existing U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) users on the DMLSS system and updating training materials and lesson plans as appropriate throughout the duration of the engagement. A background in the DMLSS system, DoD Medical Logistics and DoD Healthcare are all considered extremely critical for this position. The ability to conduct hands-on and classroom instructional training are key components for the position. The individual needs to be a self-starter, comfortable in new situations, willing to learn and accomplish new tasks, be self-managing and have a high level of personal accountability. Experience with Excel, Access and the Microsoft suite of products are a must. Experience in the use of Business Objects to develop ad hoc database queries is considered extremely beneficial. Position-specific Required Skills: • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain FULL, ACTIVE SECRET • DMLSS system administrator knowledge and experience • Experience in providing classroom instructional training • Experience in technical writing such as standard operating procedures and student training guides • The ability to perform detailed data analysis using the Microsoft Suite of products Position-specific Desired Skills • DoD Healthcare operations background is considered extremely beneficial. • Experience in the use of Business Objects to develop ad hoc database queries is considered extremely beneficial. All work will be conducted primarily in FT Detrick, MD at the client site. Travel will be required both domestically and internationally under a schedule that will be determined by the government client.
