Overview

A Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis related to various MIS projects within MIS.  Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

The typical business day will include interactions with all aspects of the MIS organization and interactions with business partners.  The Business Analyst will apply their strong knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform to collect business needs and translate them into functional requirements.  The Business Analyst will provide details around best practices as it relates to Salesforce.com and related tools as well as good software design.

The selected Business Analyst will be called up to participate in the complete lifecycle of business requests including but not limited to requirements gathering, design, deployment, and support tasks.

There will be occasional off hour requirements to support releases and other business critical activities.

Responsibilities:

* Delivers to key project milestone as requested by project managers * Responsible for analysis, process development and requirement gathering for discrete pieces of work * Identifies roles and issues and escalates appropriately, providing training where required. * Delivers benefit as defined and directed by project manager. * Implements improvements to practice and client engagements, ensuring performance targets are met in the business area. * Secures regular project extensions where appropriate. * Ensures internal processes match the business needs. * Interacts with internal groups, assisting in the identification of root causes of problems. * Support deployment of process templates.

Qualifications

* Business Analysis experience

* Experience with Salesforce.com and/or other SFA solutions

* Superior writing and verbal skills

* Experience or exposure to using SDLC

* Order to Cash background preferred

* 5 -7  years work experience required

* College degree required
