Head Teller / Teller Manager - Bethesda

Job Duties - Responsibilities include supervising the teller line and all operations processes in the branch. - Oversees teller differences issues and ensures compliance with policies and procedures in areas such as check cashing, account withdrawals, etc. - Also is responsible for managing sales referral goals on an individual basis as well as for the team. - Efficiently processes both the paying and receiving of customer transactions in a timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge and dexterity in using equipment and systems. - Takes responsibility for delivering World Class Customer Service which meets and exceeds the customers expectations. - Accurately completes settlements on a daily basis with a minimum of errors and within time guidelines. - Processes ATM transactions and assists in settlement. - Seeks out opportunities to learn about Sovereigns products and services in order to demonstrate basic knowledge of retail products when questioned by customers. - Understands the teller standards and check cashing guidelines and performs accordingly. - Understands and complies with all audit, regulatory and security procedures. - Recognizes sales opportunities and cross-sells bank products by making quality referrals to others who are more knowledgeable to close a sale. - Meets teller referral goals. - Performs other duties and tasks as requested. - May be required to help at a neighboring branch. Qualifications - The ideal candidates must possess strong customer service and supervisory skills. - College degree preferred with three to five years of related experience in customer service, banking and leadership. - The ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment along with excellent communication skills.
