Responsibilities Pfizer seeks a strong commercial attorney for its New York City Headquarters to primarily support Worldwide Procurement (WWP), Pfizer Global Manufacturing (PGM) and Global Operations clients, along with other clients of the Manufacturing and Operational Support Practice Area (MOS PA) and to support MOS PA??s role as an expert contract group. Over the next year, a significant amount of time will be devoted to supporting Pfizer??s integration of Wyeth for the MOS PA clients. Specifically, this will involve: Pfizer Global Manufacturing ??? responsibilities would include providing the primary legal support for PGM??s Global Contract Manufacturing group; supporting PGMs strategy to reconfigure its plant network by disposing of certain sites, including reviewing, commenting on and negotiating CDAs, LOIs/term sheets, transaction agreements; supporting the manufacturing aspects of a range of M&A and L&D business development transactions; managing various aspect on the sell-side and buy-side supply agreements resulting from the consumer health business divestiture. Worldwide Procurement ??? responsibilities would include supporting WWP??s negotiations with third-party vendors and contractors for supply agreements, professional services agreements and CDAs; educating PGM and WWP Colleagues on Pfizer policies and procedures and use of appropriate procurement and contract manufacturing templates; providing commercial law and transaction review services in connection with PGM??s site procurement operations in the US and Canada including providing first line support for the Midwest Procurement Group. Pfizer CentreSource (PCS) Legal Support ??? responsibilities include providing primary legal support to the PCS sales operations in Kalamazoo and Europe; providing export compliance expertise to support PCS??s export activities. Supporing Initiatives for Efficient Contract Management ??? responsibilities would include supporting one or more of the "T3" tools initiatives (Templates, Training, and/or Technology) and contributing to the group??s role in strategically providing value in the preparation, negotiations and administration of contracts. Qualifications - At least 5 plus years of law firm or corporate law department experience in a commercial legal role and the following capabilities and attributes: - Must have a JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and must be admitted to at least one state bar and must be in good standing Capabilities: 1.
